Diagnostics
Could an undiagnosed illness or injury be plaguing your pet?
When people become sick or get hurt, they visit the doctor, explain their symptoms and receive the appropriate care. With pets, it’s not always this straightforward. Because animals are unable to speak, they can’t always let us know when something is bothering them.
What’s more, many animals are able to mask the signs of illness, allowing it to develop and worsen undetected.
Veterinary diagnostics enable us to identify and treat health concerns in a timely manner. Faster diagnosis of illness and injury can vastly improve the chances of a positive outcome.
Laboratory
Quail Pointe Veterinary Hospital’s on-site diagnostic laboratory makes it fast and efficient to run a wide variety of tests. In many cases, we can have results in just a few minutes. This means we can have a treatment plan in place before you and your best friend even leave the exam room.
Imaging
When a physical exam and lab testing aren’t enough to reach a diagnosis, we turn to advanced imaging technology, such as x-rays and ultrasound. We use these tools to evaluate the bones and internal organs, identify injuries, diagnose illness and determine its severity.
Diagnostic images can be analyzed by our doctors in real-time or shared electronically with specialists if necessary.
If your pet has seemed a bit under the weather lately, don’t take chances. Give Quail Pointe Veterinary Hospital a call right away. We’ll get to the bottom of the problem and get your best friend back on the path to good health again.
